Baroda are a Belfast based indie and blues rock band. Taking inspiration from the indie rock movement of the 21st century, Baroda complete their sound with the strong blues background lead by frontman, lead guitarist and vocalist Neil Goss.
The band was formed in school under another name. Friends Neill and drummer Callum Whitten began jamming and writing music together before recruiting bassist Michael Klontzakis and guitarist Caolan Plumb, finalising on the name Baroda.
The band later went through a major line-up change loosing two members. However, childhood friend Christopher Parker joined them on the drums, solidifying the bands current line-up. A common inspiration for all members of the band has been the red hot chilli peppers. Each member brings an interest in different bands and so with such a wide range of influences, Baroda’s sound can be defined in many genres.
