Our names are Niamh Carney (vocals, drums) and Philana Nolan (guitar, vocals), and we are cousins from Enniskillen in Co. Fermanagh who go by the name Taobh Eile. We have been gigging for around 3 years now, and in July 2019, we released our debut three track EP. With our tight harmonies accompanied with an acoustic guitar, we would describe our sound as indie Irish folk.
Our EP has given us some wonderful opportunities so far, including a live performance and interview on BBC Radio Ulster on Mickey Bradley’s Art Show as well as some fantastic festivals such as Beanstock and Stendhal.
